Lee Holmes

Writer and super-food advocate.

Being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and fibromyalgia in 2006 changed everything for UK-born, Sydney-based Lee Holmes.

For a while she put qualifications in food and nutrition to one side to pursue a high-powered career in the TV and music industries before her illness led to a six-month blur of depression and lethargy before she decided to take her medical destiny into her own hands and explore whether a change in diet could restore her health. Her quest and global research eventually led to her book Supercharged Food: eat your way to good health, featuring more than 90 recipes free of gluten, wheat, dairy, yeast and sugar. Lee also writes monthly column, Quick Kitchen, for Wellbeing Magazine
